Pneumatic Products Heated Desiccant Air Dryers
Heat reactivated desiccant dryers use an internal or external heat source to regenerate the off-line desiccant tower. Heat reactivation allows Pneumatic Products to increase the volume of usable compressed air and reduce the energy consumption of the overall package. Pressure dew points from -4°F to -100°F are available.
Pneumatic Products specializes in custom engineered desiccant drying systems. Kindly contact us for a custom quotation, should your application exceed the capacities and configurations listed herein.
Legendary DEA Series Internally Heated Dryers (100-4,900 scfm)
DEA Series incorporates our down-flow drying process and state-of-the-art design features unequaled in industry. Using approximately 2% process gas for purge, the DEA is the most energy efficient dryer on the market. The key to the DEA's energy efficiency is the unique arrangement of evenly spaced heaters within the desiccant bed that ensure complete, even heating. Designed for continuous or intermittent service, the DEA is also utilized in specialty gas drying such as carbon dioxide in breweries, nitrogen for chemical padding, and hydrogen drying.
Energy costs are typically 80% less than heatless units and 70% to 80% less than other internal heat reactivated dryers.
Legendary Select Series or Century Series control valves feature stainless steel internal parts designed specifically for desiccant dryer service and tested to 500,000 cycles, bubble-tight.
Legendary CAB Series Blower Regenerated Dryers (1,200-13,000 scfm)
CAB Series desiccant air dryers are the first choice in critical large-flow applications that demand quality, energy efficiency and superior service support. Standard designs are offered for flows ranging from 1,800 to 13,000 scfm, pressures from 60 to 150 psig, and pressure dew points of -40°F to -100°F. Other sizes and pressures are available upon request. Energy efficient multi-stage centrifugal blowers eliminate process purge air and meet industry's increasingly stringent noise requirements. Superior energy savings and long component life results due to the AMLOC ® energy management system that is standard on every unit we build. CAB Series dryers serve instrument, fluid power and process air applications in continuous or intermittent service.
Ambient air used for regeneration-no process gas lost to purge.
Down-flow drying and convection regeneration for prolonged desiccant life.
Legendary Century Series control valves feature stainless steel internal parts designed specifically for desiccant dryer service and tested to 500,000 cycles, bubble-tight.
Patented AMLOC® Energy Management System for maximum energy savings.
Pre-installed PPC Series pleated coalescing filters enhance dryer performance and extend desiccant life.
Pre-installed PPC Series pleated particulate filters protect downstream equipment.
IBP Series Blower Purge Industrial Dryers (500 - 4,300 scfm)
IBP Series industrial grade dryers are 100% efficient at delivering full supply-side compressor capacity. As compressed air generation tends to be the most costly utility within a facility, IBP Series users benefit from the ability to purchase a less expensive air compressor and, a 20% reduction in air compressor energy consumption. Eliminate purge air loss to align supply-side equipment with demand-side requirements to optimize your air system
Ambient air used for regeneration-no process gas lost to purge.
Industrial Grade Process Control Valves provide dependable operation.
Optional Energy Management System for maximum energy savings.
Pre-mounted prefilter and afterfilter (other mounting options available: duplex, block and bypass valves)
PHD Series Externally Heated Dryers (300-3,200 scfm)
Compressed air drying applications that simply want seasonal protection against freezing, are exactly what the standard PHD Series desiccant dryers are designed to address. Standard models automatically provide ISO 8573.1 Class 2 (-40°C/-40°F) dew points to protect usage points from freezing during the winter months and, Class 3 (-20°C/ -4°F) dew points to keep air systems nice and dry all summer long.
Optional Jet Injection Energy Management System guarantees -40°C/-40°F pressure dew points all year long and, fast returns-on-investment.
